Through thirteen intricately drawn pencil fragments, Zeuxis explores how personal, collective, and digital memories interweave to form a larger narrative. The work reflects on the interplay between reality and technology, showing how experiences are shaped, mediated, and transformed. Its puzzle-like arrangement invites viewers to connect the fragments, revealing the ways memories gain meaning in relation to one another. Zeuxis is an open field for reflection, where images and memory meet, challenge, and inspire imagination.

Zeuxis (Ζεῦξις) derives from the Greek verb ζεύγνυμι, meaning “to yoke” or “to connect.” Etymologically, it suggests linking separate elements into a unified whole, reflecting the work’s exploration of fragmented memories that intertwine to form a larger narrative.

The work arranged to reflect on memory—personal, collective, and digital. The images appear as fragments, sometimes clear, sometimes mediated through screens, highlighting how experience and identity are shaped by both the real and the digital. Their puzzle-like arrangement emphasizes that memories gain meaning only in relation to one another, inviting reflection and interpretation.
